Take Me Out To The Ball Game!...Stitch'n Pitch 2011

Tonight is the Stitch'N Pitch Toronto Game....

and The Blue Jays are playing the Seattle Mariners!

Beautiful hot night in the city!...
at least the dome is open!

Linds and I are here with Rachel from Wellspring...we

are with the Purple Purl group....note the purple beads!

As we entered the park we received a bag

with a ball of yarn and a pair of needles!

And I won a prize!...a book I have been longing for.....

There was lots of stitching...

of all kinds...

Linds texts Todd a picture of us......

and knits.....

and sips.....

Lights are on and we are winning!

Time for the seventh inning stretch....

more knitting....some people leave and 

now we can spread out a little....so hot!

this penthouse would have a great view!...

and air conditioning I am sure!

Home Run!...that makes 3!

These knitters made their own sign....Go Jays!

and it made it on to the Jumbotron!

 Here BJ Bird is playing with the crowd!

and he comes to visit the knitters!...

Amy Swenson (Indigirl) made him the

scarf and gave it to him

at the beginning of the game!

He sees something?....

It is the knitted sign....

the crowd goes wild!

Hanging out!

and before we know it the game is over....

the Jays won 11-6.....Great Game!

We exit at the base of the CN Tower....

and we head back with crowds of

people to Union Station...
