Wonderful Wednesday!

had a problem with their system and it disappeared
for awhile.....it has just reappeared...I hope it stays now!

Today we decided to go to Estevan Village....

we really like the drive along the water....

there are several great stores to poke around

in...Bungalow, Buddies Toys and Boutique de Laine

We mostly window shopped ...but it was nice to see Clare

at the knitting shop....and I got to see 2 shawl patterns from

Ravelry .....made up with sock yarn...Aestlight Shawl and

Pamuya.....Clare had made the sample of Aestlight ...and

I really liked the yarn (Schoppel-Wolle Crazy Zauberball)

and the colour (Domino...I think) .......that she used.....

We had lunch at The Village Restaurant....Yummy Red

Lentil and Tomato Soup with 1/2 an Estevan Sandwich ....

(Free-run Cowichan Valley chicken breast, housemade cranberry

chutney, swiss cheese, tomato and lettuce on hearty multigrain

bread; served with housemade coleslaw, and a Kosher dill pickle.

Later in the day we headed off to Todd's office.....hung out with

him and Ty for a little while....Jim brought the wind-up toys...

.........and then headed off for dinner at The Flying

Otter Grill...It is right on the harbor were the float planes

land....we sat on the covered patio...Kim met us there....

Ty liked his food with dip, dip!

Who is that reaching for a french fry?....

Dip that chicken!

Left handed or right?

Wild BC Salmon Burger.....Yummy!

Under the highchair makes a neat cave after dinner...

outside looking at the planes with Dad.....

Then we headed back to the Hotel to read......

And then out to see Sister Speak again....

it was their last night at the Irish Times....
