Cross Border Trip #1 - Day 1

Last year for Christmas Diana and Daniella gave Lindsay and I an overnight trip to Buffalo...and we are redeeming it today!.... What Fun!

We picked up Diana and Daniella at 8 am....Daniella had loaded our route into her Tom Tom GPS and we were off..."Tom" led the way!

We crossed the Lewiston/Queenston Bridge and headed directly to the Fashion Outlets Mall....we got there a few minutes before it opened.....good bargains....and who would have known that Wednesday was Grandparent's day at Carter's/Osh Kosh....an extra 10% off!!!...plus we had a 20% off coupon....Yeah!

We had a snack at the food court and then were off to Amherst...to a knitting store called...Have Ewe Any Wool?....so cute.....then off to Williamsville ....you got it...more shopping....Target, Sally's, etc.....

But first a fuel break at Panera Bread......yummy food!

...especially the Broccoli Cheddar Soup!

We checked into our room at the Millennium Hotel...

then we were off to Walden Galleria ...just across the street....

and then Borders....

and finally "Olive Garden" for supper....mm mm good!...

Back in the hotel room we were able to relax

and give Diana her birthday gifts.....

Great day....a little exhausting....we will all sleep well tonight!

A great time was had by all.....delicious food....great dancing....no one wanted to go home....

Canada Day Weekend ...and a bit!

On July 1 we drove to Wolfe Island...beautiful field....long drive...a lot of traffic.... so a few detours for us...and we just missed the 4 o'clock ferry....didn't get on the 5 o'clock either......finally arrived at 6:40...long day!

On Saturday we took the ferry to Kingston ...for Fanfayr....a local craft show....

good thing we are walking....or we wouldn't have got on....

We had lunch at the new downtown location of "The Pasta Shelf"....a Kingston patio....does it get any better?.....

Lots of wildlife.....there were deer too...but I didn't get any shots....
