A great time was had by all!....We were all so happy it was a
beautiful cool day....even though rain was forcast!...A special
thanks to Ty`s Auntie Cara, Uncle Jordan and Cousin Parker for
having the party at their home ....an ideal location for the ponies!

Day 2 Playing with Ty!

Today we drove out to Todd and Kimberly's Home...and then split up

Jim spent some time with Todd....which involved errands to Rona...

and I went to Cara's were the cake was to be baked....

Alana (Kimberly's Mom and I got to play with Ty and Parker)...What Fun!

It rained all day...hopefully getting it out today so it will be nice for tomorrow!

 When Todd returned.... he took the boys on the gator to

pick up some wood from the building of the chicken coop

They are such good helpers!

A bath was in order when they finished..it cleaned them up....

and also warmed them...their bathers (Alana & I) were as wet as them...

Thanks Cara for a delicious lunch....and Chicken Pot Pie dinner!

Arriving in BC!

Great flight...all went smoothly...and we even landed a few minutes early!

I got the luggage.....

 while Jim picked up our car....

a Kia Rondo....very cute!

Three new totems were being dedicated ...just outside the "Arrivals" doors....

The Raven...an important symbol...the messenger...

Then we were off to check in to the Queen Victoria Hotel.....

Our room was not quite ready...so we headed

off to James Bay to pick up some supplies....

The flowering almonds are out!...beautiful...

By then the room was ready...we unpacked and then

I dragged out the ironing board to iron Ty's shirt....

At 3-ish we were off to meet Todd at his new office....very cool

Jordan has an office there now too....

And then Kimberly and Ty met us .....Ty liked watching

the birds, planes and boats from the balcony.....

We went for a walk ...Ty likes his stroller now....

Then at 5pm (8 for us, I guess) we were off to Pagliacci's...

one of our favourite Victoria restaurants....Yummy!

It was an early night for us.....we were very tired

but very happy to see our BC family......

Getting Ready For the Big Birthday!

I have been busy preparing a couple of items for the "Neigh"

Birthday Party on Saturday!   Do you think he will like them?

I haven't crocheted for a long time...but I couldn't resist making this...

I added a chain rope detail to the brim.....

Years ago I made a shirt for Todd...that was closed with snaps...

He loved it....and wanted to wear it all the time.....I found this fabric

and was excited to make a similar shirt for Ty.....love the fabric...

I haven't sewn for a long time either....and I got to try out my new

serger...I don't actually know what I am doing...but I am proud of the

result!...and can't wait to take my lesson and find out the proper procedure...

Lindsay's Birthday!

We had dinner with Lindsay at Mattina Cucina's...

in Georgetown....to celebrate her Birthday

The food was fantastic!...I didn't think of taking pictures until we had dessert.....

The desserts were amazing....this was Lindsays....

and mine.....checkout the candy apple ice cream....

so creative....and the crumble.....

I knew this would be Jim's choice!

Mmm....good!

Janine's Bridal Shower

 Janine and Ryan are to be married this summer. 

Today I attended a shower for them at Jackie's

and Ray's home  in Stonegate.

She was suprised...until she recognized someone's car outside...

Bonnie B. and I taught two of these ladies...

and the young girl in the middle....and Ryan of course.....

Janine had a lot of unwrapping to do...the gifts were amazing!....

and so was the cake ....and desserts!
