Helping!

Today we were on our way to breakfast and then gymnastics...when we got a call....Yeah!, Kimberly was being discharged....


We are so happy to be off to help......warm the car....get coats....assist in any way....

Cuddles first!

Time to change into a going home sleeper...this one didn't fit brother Ty....but it fits Tria....

Then some family time...

After his nap Ty goes shopping with Todd for a gift for Tria!

He loved showing it to her....

And holding her.... 

And watching her being changed....

Happy Birthday Baby Tria!

It started like any other Tuesday......

Playgroup.....

and Kinder-gym.....

And then after our lunch.....we got the news.....Kimberly was in active labour (11:30 AM).....Cara went to the house...and the Grandparents and the boys headed to Cara and Jordan's.....very exciting.....

Ty got out the scoop to make leaf  roads with Gramps....

Messages are coming through....3 minutes apart...Granny updates us....and then before you know it Kimberly is pushing.....3 pushes and the baby is born!   12:39 PM.....so glad Auntie was there to assist Midwife Beth....Midwife Kim arrived 5 minutes later...

Meanwhile Ty has his nap......

Back at home Kimberly is loosing a lot of blood...Midwife Kim calls 911 as a precaution.....Kimberly is taken to the hospital by ambulance......2 ambulances and a firetruck fit through the new gates......and one firetruck outside the gate.....glad they all fit! ....Daddy, Auntie Cara and Baby Tria follow in the car....

Meanwhile nap is over....boys are up....grandparents are anxious..... the update is good.....they are taking good care of Kimberly....

Tria is fine (incubating on her Dad's chest...both wrapped in some warm blankets) and is not admitted...

Auntie Cara is our communicator and helping Angel!

Uncle Jordan makes and enjoys snack with the boys.....

We get a couple of pictures by email...

Weighing in at 7 1bs 8 oz

Later comes the name.... Tria Isabella (Jim's Mom) Marijke (Dutch translation of Mary, Kim's Grandmother's middle name and one of Tony's favourite names) Dunlop. 

Cara wrote it on a piece of paper with her eye liner....

We have a quick supper of pancakes and then are off to the hospital to meet her......

Ty is excited to meet his big sister....he is so proud....and spontaneously says..."I a big brother"

Time for the boys to go home to bed....so much excitement......

Jim takes Todd in search of some food.....and Kimberly and I cuddle Tria......
